With the help of executive chef Matthew Dunn, Joe’s Crab Shack discovers and shares the secrets behind three different local coastal flavors and fares in its new Go Coastal Platters.

“When we created the new Joe’s Go Coastal Platters, it was important to us to use only the freshest ingredients because it keeps the authentic regional vibe alive in each dish, no matter where you are dining,” said Matthew Dunn, Joe’s Crab Shack executive chef and director of culinary.

Discover your own favorite coast at Joe’s this spring and try:

• East Coast – Joe’s famous lump meat crab cake, fish and chips and crab stuffed shrimp served with onion strings
• West Coast –Coconut shrimp, Maui mahi and a new fish taco served with fresh vegetables
• Gulf Coast – Classic crispy shrimp, new blackened tilapia with etouffee sauce and new bayou shrimp served with hushpuppies

Can’t pick one coast? Try a flavorful appetizer, dessert or specialty drink:

• Crab Nachos – Joe’s crosses the border with a new take on nachos. Tortilla chips piled high and topped with loads of crab, pico de gallo, cheese and black bean corn relish.
• Key Lime Pie – Joe’s specialty! A tart pie in a graham cracker crust, topped with whipped cream.
• Shark Bite – Everybody out of the water! This cocktail is a refreshing combination of Bacardi Limon, SKYY Vodka, blue curacao, sweet and sour, and a dangerous dose of grenadine!

In addition to trying one of Joe’s new Go Coastal Platters, customers now can easily commemorate their own special occasions at Joe’s Crab Shack with the new “Shack Shots” photos. Servers will take pictures of customers and post the pictures online, where customers can select their own unique frame and photo for printing.
